كنيسة السيّدة الجديدة - صربا الجنوب بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٤٦ وكرّسها المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني. بناؤها بازيليكيّ الطراز بثلاث أسواقٍ وحنية نصف دائريّة. رُمّمت الكنيسة بعد زلزال سنة ١٩٥٦، وأُضيفت إليها قبّة الجرس. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونةً أورشليميّة عجائبيّة للسيّدة العذراء وهي التي حمت الأهالي خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى. The new Church of Our Lady - Sarba, South Lebanon. The church was constructed in 1946 and consecrated by Archbishop Augustine el-Boustany. This basilical church features three naves and a semi-circular apse. Following the earthquake of 1956, the structure underwent restoration, and a bell tower was subsequently added to the church. Notably, the church houses an icon of the Theotokos from the school of Jerusalem, which is believed to possess miraculous properties. According to the local community, this icon protected the village during World War I, serving as a source of divine intervention and safeguarding.

The church dates back to the Phoenician era with a high vault. The great frensh orientalist Ernest Renan retraced its history with its huge stone pillars. The church had a great Phoenician tympant with two snakes revolving around a globe. The huge stone was taken to the Louvre museum by Renan.
The final stage and most recent construction dates back to 1870 when the church was rededicated by bishop Yousef el Marid.

تعود الى العهد الفينيقي لأنها مبنيّة بعقد قصبة مرتفعة وكانت معبدًا وثنيًّا.
أشار إرنست رينان الى وجود اعمِدة أثريّة استُعملت في مداميك البناء. رُمّمت وزيد عليها مع تعاقب المراحل التاريخيّة.
رينان انتزع عتبة الكنيسة وأرسلها الى متحف اللوفر في باريس، وهي تحمل نقشًا من الرموز التي كانت شائعةً في الدين الفينيقي يمثّل كرةً تلتفُّ حولها حيّاتٌ مجتمعة الأذناب في أعلاها
رُمِّمت هذه الكنيسة عدَّة مرّات، وكُرِّست عام 1870 بيد المطران يوسف المريض. وصورة مار جرجس فيها هي بريشة الرسّام بولس شلافك

دير مار شليطا - القطّارة ميفوق
تَقَرَّر في مجمع الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة العام المنعقد في ١٦ تشرين الثاني ١٨٤٧، في عهد الأب العام عمَّانوئيل الأشقر، وبرضى البطريرك يوسف راجي الخازن، فَصل بعض أرزاق من دير سيِّدة ميفوق لإنشاء دير في محلَّة القطَّارة شرقيِّ ميفوق، على اسم القدِّيس شلِّيطا. سنة ١٨٥٠، بدء بناء الدّير وكان إتمام بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦١، فَكَرَّسها البطريرك بولس مسعد. عُيِّن هذا الدير، سنة ١٨٧٠، مدرسةّ لتعليم اللغات الأجنبيّة، وكان يضمُّ أيضًا عددًا من المبتدئين. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنَّ هذا الدير لا يزال حتَّى أيَّامنا يقوم بزراعة أشجار التوت واستخدامها في إنتاج مواسم الحرير. كما يضمّ الدّير محبسة.

The Monastery of St Challita - El Qattara Mayfouk.

On the 16th of October 1848 the monastic chapter of the Lebanese Maronite Order decided to separate some lands from the monastery of our Lady of Mayfouk to found a monastery dedicated to St Challita, during the mandate of Abbot Emmanuel El Achkar. In 1850, works on the monastery began and were concluded in 1861 when Patriarch Boulos Massad consecrated the church. The monastery was made a school for foreign languages and a novitiate. The monastery still has a great traditional silk production - a rare preservance in Lebanon. The monastery holds also a hermitage.

كنيسة مار يعقوب المقطّع - دلبتا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٦٤، وهي عقد مصالب بحنية واحدة وثلاث مذابح. هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. رممّت للمرّة الأولى ما يين سنة ١٨٩٣ و١٨٩٤ وأقيم فيها المذبح الكبير. أمّا الترميم الثاني يعود لسنة ١٩٧٥. تحوي الكنيسة على مدفن المطران يوحنّا مراد رئيس أساقفة بعلبك (+١٩٣٧). كذلك على مجموعة كبيرة من اللوحات لكنعان ديب إبن البلدة تعود لأواخر القرن التاسع عشر.

The church of St Jacob the Persian - Dlebta

Built in 1764, it is the town’s parochial church. The structure is a crossed vault ending in a single apse with three altars. The church was restored between 1893 and 1894 when the current high altar was brought, and in 1975. In the church is buried Mgr. Youhanna Mrad (+1937) archbishop of Baalbek. The church holds a great number of paintings by Kanaan Dib the son of Dlebta, dating back to the late XIXth century.
